  • Experience

    Mr. Costello’s practice focuses on management-side labor and employment law and related litigation; and education law, including special education, student discipline and all other school-related matters. He represents school committees, cities, towns, and other public and private employers before arbitrators, administrative agencies, and in State and Federal Court, relative to labor and employment matters. He has appeared before the Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations, Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, the Massachusetts Civil Service Commission, and the National Labor Relations Board. He also conducts employee investigations; represents management in collective bargaining negotiations; and advises and counsels public and private clients in all areas of labor and employment law.

    Previously, Mr. Costello worked at a Boston based labor and employment firm representing both public and private employers. He also previously served as the Director of Labor Relations for an Executive Office within the Commonwealth of Massachusetts, overseeing all labor and employment matters within the Office’s Departments.
