  • Experience

    Ms. Noonan focuses on representing and advising municipalities, school committees, and private employers on labor and employments issues including collective bargaining, discipline, and policy development. She advises private and public sector clients on a wide range of labor and employment law topics including collective bargaining, labor relations, discipline and discharge, layoffs and demotions, discrimination, investigations, leaves, wage and hour matters, and severance and release agreements. Ms. Noonan also provides training to public and private sector clients on labor and employment issues including labor relations, collective bargaining, wage and hour laws, employee leaves and accommodations, discrimination, and discipline and discharge. Ms. Noonan has assisted in representing clients before the Massachusetts Department of Labor Relations, the American Arbitration Association, the Massachusetts Joint Labor Management Committee, and the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination.

    Previously, Ms. Noonan served as Director of Labor Relations for a large municipality. In this role she was responsible for developing the overall bargaining strategy for the municipality, advising on employment and labor matters for all municipal departments, including representing the municipality in arbitrations and unfair labor practice proceedings. In addition, she oversaw training of managers and department heads on employment and labor matters. Ms. Noonan also previously worked at a Boston-based labor and employment firm advising hospitals and university clients on labor and employment matters.
