Mr. Milward assists with representing and advising municipalities, school committees, and private employers on labor and employment issues, including collective bargaining, wage and hour laws, anti-discrimination measures, employee leaves and accommodations, discipline, and policy implementation. Mr. Milward also assists with advising school committees on issues including special education and student discipline.

While in law school, Mr. Milward served as the Lead Articles Editor on the Moot Court Honor Board. He also participated in the Tom C. Clark Appellate Advocacy Competition where he advanced to the final round of arguments. He was awarded Best Oral Advocate during his 1L year.
